Why upgrade your rear caliper???

The stock rear calipers on these bikes are getting old now and most need a rebuild.

The stock position allows water, salt and dirt to sit inside the caliper causing accelerated corrosion.

You can buy an up n over kit to position the caliper up top out of harms way but it still leaves you with a caliper that needs rebuilding and doesn’t look the part.

Our kit uses the Hel 84mm billet two piston caliper.

UK designed and Manufactured, Fully rebuildable and it looks great.

Function wise the Hel caliper is actually less aggressive, we found on the stock caliper with good pads that we would regularly lock the rear wheel in a heavy braking situations.

This is not good as you loose traction and your braking distance increases. Our setup you can really press down on the brake pedal and it wont suddenly lock up. Instead you can really gauge how much force your putting into the rear brake with the confidence that it wont suddenly lock up.

Unfortunately at the moment this kit is only available for bikes with Mag wheels, Cast wheels(Dymag etc) Canyon Wheels and our Envy light weight spoked hubs.
