Well we have not posted for a while but things have been moving forward.
Big news was the new HP record, we achieved 112rwhp and 74lbft torque on the Dyno in February thanks to the Super Cam. That’s 125hp at the Crank!!!!
But hang on you achieved 110rwhp with the UTP Fast Road cam???
Yes we did but the SuperCam is a much better designed cam with way more potential.
Unfortunately with more lift and a little more duration comes the problem of compression ratio reduction.
The longer the valves are open the more overlap there is and the further they open the more flow there is means the dynamic compression ratio is reduced massively.

New Pistons are required to make up the difference, these new UTP high performance pistons can only be used with the Supercam. As always the more performance you make , the more it costs and the gains reduce. We are expecting a 8 hp increase from this new piston and 8 lbft torque but as always with these things estimates can be achieved but some times they are not. So this you will have to wait and see.
112rwhp 74lbft
We achieved these figures with our SuperHead, SuperCam, HP-King exhaust and FCR 41.

We found the FCR 39 maxed out for us at 108rwhp, the Lectrons managed 109rwhp but have not been tested on the current setup as Lectron still do not have a suitable metering rod to fuel our bikes correctly in any state of tune.

Breathe Hiflo airbox cover Price has been reduced, when we got the last batch made the cost was higher so the cost of the product was higher. We have just had a new batch made and the price has reduced so we are passing this back onto the customer. Some companies think this is crazy but I would call it honest.

Multi- Large product discounts.
If you are thinking of building a performance motor with our Performance parts and you are looking at multiple Large Items get intouch directly as we can do some discounts to help. We also have quite a few Second hand parts we have just used for testing that are still almost new but will help reduce the over all cost of your upgrade. We are not like other performance places. We will always advise your what will give the best results but also whats the most cost effective for your situation. If you plan to build part by part over years then your Performance Journey will be much different to a straight complete build.

Finally, a customer was asking us how the Zard 2-2 exhaust setup would perform with our current Fast road setup.
So we did a quick comparison dyno Graph between the HP-King 2-1 and the ZARD Bonnie SE Silencers with SE headers. Depending what RPM you use most there are pro’s and cons to each.

The Fuelling wasn’t right as we ran out of time but considering how quiet the Zard Bonnie SE Silencers are they still managed 100rwhp. I think with fuelling corrected we would see another 2hp easily so 102rwhp from a lovely Stainless steel silencer that’s quiet enough for everyday use. 102rwhp is 115hp at the crank. Its a lovely amount of power and these silencers can be had for a decent cost these days. Cone engineering Silencers will net a couple more HP but the extra noise is very noticeable. The Zard Silencers for UK and EU customers is a definite win for cost and noise reduction. After all when you get up to this much power its hard to notice a couple hp difference as the bikes so quick anyway.
More to come…….
